When updating an existing IP Office that is integrated to DuVoice there are some precautions that need to be accounted for.
These often require configuration changes to both the IP Office and DuVoice systems.
Otherwise, the Voicemail and Hospitality features could stop working.
Before our support team is able to make any configuration changes to the DuVoice system, a live support service contract will need to be in place AND a current version of DuVoice DV2000 will be required.
We highly recommend contacting us before an IPO version upgrade so that we know we can assist.
If upgrading from an analog IP Office, the integration will need to be updated to use SIP.
Upon upgrading to IPO Office v12.0 and higher, the included DLLs for security in the SDK no longer function for 3rd party web service access.
The fix requires installing the IP Office Management suite onto the DuVoice server. Which only Avaya certified technicians have access to download from Avaya. Thus someone with that ability will need to download this onto the DuVoice server before performing the change listed in more detail on this page here.
Before v11, the SIP integration between IP Office and DuVoice worked slightly differently.
The most important piece is that DuVoice will now need to register, and this includes setting a password to enable this functionality.
