First, If you are on a DV4 using WindowsXP Embedded windows update is not available. This feature is not supported by Microsoft for Embedded windows.
For all other systems, we suggest you load all critical updates at least on a monthly basis. We suggest you do not install any driver updates unless directed to do so from DuVoice or Microsoft. For other updates we suggest you browese the list, but not load any unless you feel you're experiencing the problem described or require the functionality described.
