====== Cutover ====== ===== Summary ===== This step is for getting the new DuVoice server in the place of the old DuVoice server, and testing functionality. ===== Required Parties ===== * DuVoice Technician. * Installation Point-of-contact. * PBX Technician. * PMS Technician. * On-site test-helper. ===== Prep-Work ===== * Point-of-contact will: * Shutdown the existing DuVoice server. * Copy the IP addressing configuration from the existing DuVoice server. * Configure the new DuVoice server to have the same IP as the old server did. ===== Meeting Objectives ===== ==== Start DuVoice Services ==== * DuVoice Technician will: * Connect to the existing DuVoice server. * Get DuVoice services started. ==== Test Full System Integration ==== * DuVoice Technician will: * Open monitoring applications. * Point-of-contact will: * Either: * Act as the on-site test-helper. * Engage the on-site test-helper. * Follow the testing instructions, available [[howto:tests:cutover|here]]. * PBX technician will: * Monitor ongoing telephony activity. * Provide any networking details associated to the phone system for the DuVoice technician. * Assist in any additional troubleshooting. * PMS technician will: * Monitor ongoing hospitality activity. * Provide any networking details associated to the PMS for the DuVoice technician. * Assist in any additional troubleshooting. ===== Post Meeting ===== After this cutover step, DuVoice professional services will be concluded for this installation.
