====== Vodavi ====== The DuVoice 7.00 does not have a dedicated hospitality link to the Vodavi PBX, but it can change the assigned class of service for an extension using inband short codes. This link uses the protocol and features listed in the table below: |< 80% 15% 20% 20% >| ^Link Type^Protocol Used^Log File Prefix^Features Supported^ |//Inband//|//Vodavi inband codes//|LINEn (n = line #)|Change phone COS| This page is used to configure the 7.00's link to the PBX. {{:images:vs7:manual:pbxlink-vodavi.png?nolink|}} There is only one setting to configure of the Vodavi, the //Outdial prefix//. The inband codes that the Vodavi uses to change the phone class of service are formatted as: prefix, extension, day COS,night COS The voice server automatically adds everything after the prefix code for you, based on the phone control codes defined in the hospitality configuration. The table of possible COS values is listed here for your convenience. **Note that the voice server uses the phone control code for both the day and night COS values; they will always be the same.** |< 80% 15% >| ^ COS Value ^Meaning (on the Vodavi)^ | //1// |No restrictions| | //2// |Table A governs| | //3// |Table B governs| | //4// |Tables A and B govern| | //5// |Restricts 0, 1, *, # dialed as first digit (7-digit maximum length)| | //6// |Intercom only (no CO line access; results in a 911 block unless 911 Feature is active)| | //7// |Restricts 0, 1, *, # dialed as first digit (10-digit maximum length)| **//For more details on what these COS values mean you will need to consult your Vodavi documentation.//** The following examples show how the short code is built based on the prefix, the room (extension) number and the phone COS value: |< 80% 20% >| ^Code Type^Prefix^Room^COS Value^Short Code^ |//Check out (restrict)//|470|1101|6|470,1101,6,6| |//Check in (unrestrict)//|470|205|1|470,1101,1,1| Configure the prefix as needed and then click **OK** to save your changes and close the dialog.
