Cutover

This step is for getting the new DuVoice server in the place of the old DuVoice server, and testing functionality.

• DuVoice Technician.
• Installation Point-of-contact.
• PBX Technician.
• PMS Technician.
• On-site test-helper.

• Point-of-contact will:
  • Shutdown the existing DuVoice server.
  • Copy the IP addressing configuration from the existing DuVoice server.
  • Configure the new DuVoice server to have the same IP as the old server did.

• DuVoice Technician will:
  • Connect to the existing DuVoice server.
    • Get DuVoice services started.

• DuVoice Technician will:
  • Open monitoring applications.

• Point-of-contact will:
  • Either:
    • Act as the on-site test-helper.
    • Engage the on-site test-helper.
  • Follow the testing instructions, available here.

• PBX technician will:
  • Monitor ongoing telephony activity.
  • Provide any networking details associated to the phone system for the DuVoice technician.
  • Assist in any additional troubleshooting.

• PMS technician will:
  • Monitor ongoing hospitality activity.
  • Provide any networking details associated to the PMS for the DuVoice technician.
  • Assist in any additional troubleshooting.

After this cutover step, DuVoice professional services will be concluded for this installation.
