Restart DuVoice Services

In normal operation, rebooting DuVoice services is not recommended, as it could lead to service interruption.

So, there are a few exceptions as to why you would want to do this, not limited to:

  1. It was recommended by a DuVoice support technician.
  2. There is a service or connection issue being diagnosed.
  3. You're modifying the system's configuration.

Find and Open Activity Monitor

Normally, there should be a shortcut on the desktop.

However, here are some instructions in case there isn't:

  1. Navigate to the start menu.
    1. Then if you're on Windows 11, click 'all'.
  2. Open the “DV2000” folder.
  3. Then click the “Activity Monitor” application.

Shutdown Services

  1. Click on the ‘service’ drop-down menu option.
  2. Within that drop-down, click ‘shutdown’.
  3. Wait until the orb in the bottom left of the activity monitor application turns red and says ‘shutdown’.

Start Services

  1. Click on the ‘service’ drop-down menu option.
  2. Within that drop-down, click ‘start’.
  3. Wait until the orb in the bottom left of the activity monitor application turns green and says ‘running’.
  4. Note: as the services show up on activity monitor, it could take a few minutes after it says 'running' for DuVoice services to be functioning as intended.
