Upgrades
Upgrading from version 7.2 to version 8 is seamless and should only take less than 30 minutes.
Requirements
DV2000 running 7.2.
DV2000 license updated to version 8.
DV2000 license updated to support Dialogic SU543 (for SIP only systems).
Dialogic SU543. (for SIP only systems).
Pre-Upgrade
Contact DuVoice sales to have license updated.
Download all the necessary software from the
downloads
page.
Upgrade
Update to the latest version of 7.2. This will ensure the upgrade goes faster and with fewer potential issues.
Configure the DV2000 to not auto start. This ensures if any reboots occur that the system will not start until upgrade completed.
Shutdown the DV2000 system.
For SIP enabled systems:
Uninstall Dialogic HMP and reboot system when requested to do so.
Install latest Dialogic HMP SU543 and follow the steps in this
guide
.
Systems with Internet access:
From the Windows menu run
Start | DV2000 Support | Activate or Update Key
(dvactivate.exe).
Download the latest license.
Verify the version shows 8 or 800.
Systems without internet access:
Acquire a new license file from DuVoice.
Overwrite the exiting
license.lic
file located typically in
c:\vs
.
Run the DV2000 8 install.
Finalize
Confirm configuration.
Verify telephony lines start.
Make a test call to the DV2000 to ensure integration is still working.
Configure DV2000 to automatically start. This is now located in DV2000 Manager
