Static IP Method
Requirements
Networking:
The DuVoice server's Dialogic HMP Telephony drivers only allow for one NIC to be assigned for SIP.
Must have 2-way SIP traffic between:
The physical SIP phone must remain on the same IP address.
Preface
This MWI method allows for assigning static IPs to individual mailbox.
If any on-site changes are made to the physical phone resulting in a different MAC address for the extension. This will require changes in the DuVoice configuration, accordingly.
Endpoint Configuration
One of these, or a combination of both of these, can be used for a single DuVoice site.

For this to work, we need to enter the IP address of the SIP phone within the mailbox's configuration.
CSV Import
For more information on the CSV import process here.
Configure the MWI address into the 'MWI 0' column to the CSV file:
For a SIP phone configure it like this example:
123@192.168.0.123
Replace the 123 with the <phone-ext>.
Replace the 192.168.0.123 with the <phone-ip>.
Keep in mind that this information needs to be in the same row as the appropriate mailbox.
Manual Configuration
Log in to the desktop of the DuVoice server.
Open the 'DV2000 Manager' application.
Click on the 'Mailbox' drop down option.
Click on the 'Management' option.
The 'mailboxes' window will open.
Navigate to the mailbox to be modified.
Double click on it to edit.
The individual mailbox will open.
Click on the 'MWI' option on the left.
Configure the MWI address into the 'Address' column for 'Position' 0 like the following:
For a SIP phone configure it like this example:
123@192.168.0.123
Replace the 123 with the <phone-ext>.
Replace the 192.168.0.123 with the <phone-ip>.
Keep in mind that this information needs to be in the same row as the appropriate mailbox.
Click 'ok' to save changes, and close the window.
