Security Software

  • It is not recommended to run Security or Anti-Virus Software on the server running the DuVoice software.
    • Often portions of the DuVoice installation are falsely quarantined.
      • This can lead to data corruption and service instability.
  • If Anti-Virus Software is required:
    • It is recommended that it be installed after the DuVoice software has installed.
    • And functionality has been tested and confirmed working as intended.
  • For any updates or upgrades to any service relating to DuVoice:
    • The software must be temporarily disabled for the duration of the installation period.
  • The following directories contain multiple .EXE files that must be fully excluded from real time scanning.
    • C:\OEM
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\DuVoice DV2000
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\DuVoice RTStatus
    • C:\vmbackup
    • C:\vs
    • C:\Program Files\dvmongodb
  • We have experienced issues with (not limited to) these software products:
    • Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR
    • Bitdefender
    • Crowdstrike
    • SentinelOne
    • Cisco Secure Endpoint
