Rationale

There are a few reasons that the DuVoice system will need an upgrade, not limited to:

Requirements

Please review these requirements as they are essential for any installation.

Meetings

All parties will: attend meetings as described in more detail below.

If any participants are missing, the meeting must be rescheduled.

Customer Provided Server

If you bought server hardware (a DuVoice NANO) from DuVoice feel free to ignore this portion.

Remote Access

The site is responsible for making sure the DuVoice technician has remote access to the DuVoice server.

The site is reponsible for ensuring network parameters are met.

Caveats

Lost Old DuVoice Configuration

In cases where the old DuVoice system has died, and no backup is available.

This installation's scope changes, and will be essentially be a from scratch installation.

So in such a case, please refer to the documentation for a 'new installation' rather than an 'upgrade'.

Step 1 - Kickoff call

Step 2 - DuVoice server preparation

Get the new DuVoice services installed, licensed, configured, and ready onto the new DuVoice server.

Step 3 - Cutover

Switch the production DuVoice server from the existing system to the new system and test functionality.
