Server Preparation

This step is for setting up and importing the configuration from the old DuVoice server onto the new server.

The old server will still be in production after this step.

  • DuVoice Technician.
  • Installation Point-of-contact.
  • Point-of-contact will:
    • Provide remote access to:
      • Existing DuVoice server.
      • New DuVoice server.

Export from Existing Server

  • DuVoice Technician will:
    • Connect to the existing DuVoice server.
      • Export this system's configuration.

Install and Verify New Server

  • DuVoice Technician will:
    • Connect to the new DuVoice server.
      • Install, license, and verify Dialogic HMP can start up.
      • Install, and license the DuVoice software.

Import Configuration onto New Server

  • DuVoice Technician will:
    • Import the DuVoice software configuration.
    • Ensure it's ready to go.

Post Meeting

  • DuVoice technician will:
    • Send follow-up email.
      • Include a YouCanBookMe link for scheduling the next meeting.
      • Include any required documentation if needed.
        • PBX or PMS integration documentation.
  • Point-of-contact will:
    • Read the email sent from DuVoice technician.
      • Use the YouCanBookMe link to schedule the step 3 meeting.
      • Add any other needed members to the meeting.
