Upgrades
Upgrading from version 7.2 to version 8 is seamless and should only take less than 30 minutes.
Requirements
- DV2000 running 7.2.
- DV2000 license updated to version 8.
- DV2000 license updated to support Dialogic SU543 (for SIP only systems).
- Dialogic SU543. (for SIP only systems).
Pre-Upgrade
- Contact DuVoice sales to have license updated.
- Download all the necessary software from the downloads page.
Upgrade
- Update to the latest version of 7.2. This will ensure the upgrade goes faster and with fewer potential issues.
- Configure the DV2000 to not auto start. This ensures if any reboots occur that the system will not start until upgrade completed.
- Shutdown the DV2000 system.
- For SIP enabled systems:
- Uninstall Dialogic HMP and reboot system when requested to do so.
- Install latest Dialogic HMP SU543 and follow the steps in this guide.
- Systems with Internet access:
- From the Windows menu run Start | DV2000 Support | Activate or Update Key (dvactivate.exe).
- Download the latest license.
- Verify the version shows 8 or 800.
- Systems without internet access:
- Acquire a new license file from DuVoice.
- Overwrite the exiting license.lic file located typically in c:\vs.
- Run the DV2000 8 install.
Finalize
- Confirm configuration.
- Verify telephony lines start.
- Make a test call to the DV2000 to ensure integration is still working.
- Configure DV2000 to automatically start. This is now located in DV2000 Manager here.
