Room Functions
The 7.00 supports a number of different functions that can be performed on room mailboxes or extensions. It also provides multiple ways to perform these functions.
Some can be initiated by the PMS, some can be performed manually using the InnDesk web application, some can be performed by dialing a special code from the room phone, and some can be performed using the hospitality administration menu via touch tone. Not all functions can be performed in all of those ways, however.

Check Out | Check out a guest/room. |
Group | Assign mailbox to a group. Allows for group messaging and group wakeup calls. |
Language | Assign a language to the guest room. |
Maid Status | Set the room clean status for a guest room. |
Move | Move a guest to a different room. |
Name | Change the guest name. |
Password | Change the mailbox password. |
Phone COS | Change the phone class of service or restriction level. |
Purge | Purge messages from a room mailbox without checking it out. |
Review Archived Messages | Access a guest's messages after check out, as long as the messages are still available. |
Send Message to All Guests | Send a message to all checked in guest mailboxes. |
Text Message Count | Set or clear the text message count. |
VIP | Set or clear the VIP flag for a guest room, which may be used to determine how wakeup calls are processed. |
Voice Message Count | Query the count of new messages for a guest mailbox. |
Wakeup Call Set/Cancel | Set or cancel a wakeup call for a guest room. |
