HTNG Server

7.00 can connect to a PMS using the HTNG protocol over TCP/IP.

This feature is implemented as a middleware server that translates from the HTNG protocol to the DuVoice Advanced protocol, and vice-versa, passing the translated packets to the 7.00's hospitality server for processing. Likewise, the hospitality server will send maid status and message count updates to the HTNG server using the DuVoice Advanced protocol and the HTNG server will translate them into HTNG packets and pass them on to the PMS.

To finish configuration, you must configure the hospitality server PMS link to use TCP/IP with the DuVoice Advanced protocol. The HTNG server will read the TCP port assigned to the hospitality server's PMS link and use that port for communication with the hospitality server.

The dialog below shows the configuration settings for this connection.
