PBX Integration
Summary
This step is for integrating the DuVoice server to the phone system.
Required Parties
- DuVoice Technician.
- Installation Point-of-contact.
- PBX Technician.
- On-site test-helper.
Prep-Work
- Point-of-contact will:
- Provide remote access to:
- Existing DuVoice server.
- New DuVoice server.
- PBX technician will:
- Program the DuVoice voicemail extensions/truck according to the integration document.
- Program the RNA forwarding
- So when someone doesn't answer, the call is forwarded to the DuVoice extensions.
- This is what allows for voicemail to function.
- Follow the integration document for any other required programming.
Meeting Objectives
Get DuVoice Services Installed and Configured
- DuVoice Technician will:
- Connect to the DuVoice server.
- Install, license, and verify Dialogic HMP can start up.
- Install, license, and import configuration into the DuVoice software.
- Configure DuVoice services with the needed information for integration.
Start Up DuVoice Services
- DuVoice Technician will:
- Open up logging software.
- Start DuVoice services.
SIP Registration
- DuVoice Technician will:
- View registration from DuVoice to the phone system.
- PBX technician will:
- Assist in any troubleshooting, if needed.
Test Telephony Integration
- Point-of-contact will:
- Either:
- Act as the on-site test-helper.
- Engage the on-site test-helper.
- Follow the testing instructions, available here.
- DuVoice Technician will:
- Assist in any troubleshooting, if needed.
- PBX technician will:
- Assist in any troubleshooting, if needed.
Post Meeting
- DuVoice technician will:
- Send follow-up email.
- Include a YouCanBookMe link for scheduling the next meeting.
- Include any required documentation if needed.
- PMS integration documentation.
- Point-of-contact will:
- Read the email sent from DuVoice technician.
- Use the YouCanBookMe link to schedule the step 3 meeting.
- Engage and add any other needed members to the meeting.
