Scope of Work
Rationale
There are a few reasons that the DuVoice system will need an upgrade, not limited to:
- The existing DuVoice server needs a hardware or OS change.
- This includes migrating the existing DuVoice server.
- Existing Hardware to New VM.
- Existing VM to New VM.
- The existing DuVoice server requires an operating system change and/or update.
- The existing DuVoice DV2000 version is EOL.
- The site has made changes to their PBX, including but not limited to:
- PBX update.
- PBX vendor change.
- The site has made changes their PMS, including but not limited to:
- PMS on premise to cloud migration.
- PMS vendor change.
Requirements
Please review these requirements as they are essential for any installation.
Meetings
All parties will: attend meetings as described in more detail below.
If any participants are missing, the meeting must be rescheduled.
Customer Provided Server
If you bought server hardware (a DuVoice NANO) from DuVoice feel free to ignore this portion.

Remote Access
The site is responsible for making sure the DuVoice technician has remote access to the DuVoice server.

Caveats
Lost Old DuVoice Configuration
In cases where the old DuVoice system has died, and no backup is available.
This installation's scope changes, and will be essentially be a from scratch installation.
So in such a case, please refer to the documentation for a 'new installation' rather than an 'upgrade'.

Step 1 - Kickoff call

Step 2 - DuVoice server preparation

Get the new DuVoice services installed, licensed, configured, and ready onto the new DuVoice server.
Step 3 - Cutover

Switch the production DuVoice server from the existing system to the new system and test functionality.
